Commission forwards positive recommendation for Silver Creek Unit F plat amendment

The Snyderville Basin Planning Commission voted unanimously to forward a positive recommendation to the County Council for a plat amendment in Silver Creek Unit F that vacates and relocates portions of unbuilt Wasatch Way and Greenfield Drive and adjusts lot lines so Lot 341 gains acreage and Lot 342 loses acreage.

Planner Laura said the amendment aligns the recorded plat with the road locations as built and that staff had received phone inquiries from neighbors worried about a road vacation but no formal public opposition. Commissioners had no substantive questions and the motion to recommend approval passed 6–0.

Next steps: The commission’s positive recommendation will be transmitted to the County Council for final action.
