Following the public hearing and permit vote, the commission considered routine business and scheduling. Commissioners moved to approve the minutes for meetings dated Jan. 24, 2023 and May 23, 2023; the minutes were approved as recorded after commissioners confirmed the appropriate voting threshold for those earlier meetings.
Commissioner Hubler said he had been appointed to a design review committee and will begin attending meetings in two weeks and report back. Community development Director Pat Putt outlined upcoming agenda items and meeting logistics: the June 27 meeting will include a plat amendment in Silver Springs and a private recreation athletic facility proposal in Silver Creek; July meetings are scheduled for July 11 and July 25, with one item on the July 11 agenda so far. Director Putt also reminded commissioners of required open-meetings training on Thursday, June 22, which will be held in the same room at 6 p.m., will be streamed and recorded, and can count toward the commission's required training hours. "For some reason you can't make it... I think we'll have an opportunity for you to view it," Putt said, noting the session would be streamed and recorded.
The commission adjourned after a motion to close the meeting carried.
