Council grants extension to Old Ranch Road subdivision plat amid right‑of‑way coordination

Staff said the applicant has been unable to record the plat because the county may make improvements to Old Ranch Road that could require additional right‑of‑way and that the zoning conditions have not changed since original approval. Staff recommended an extension; council members noted the county and the applicant have coordinated design work and that keeping the application alive serves mutual interests while right‑of‑way design and funding proceed.

The council approved the extension by unanimous voice vote. Staff noted the applicant can still record the plat under current approvals if he chooses, but that an extension preserves his option while county design and right‑of‑way decisions proceed.
