Council approves routine business: minutes, appointment, and small funding allocations

Lock Haven — During routine business the council approved the prior meeting minutes, confirmed several motions and appointments, and authorized staff to invite applications for a $10,000 roads-related allocation.

Speaker 2 called for approval of the July 10 minutes; the motion carried. The council appointed Robert Neff as an auxiliary fire driver effective Sept. 4, following a recommendation from the fire advisory board. Council also directed staff to invite the roads organization referenced in the packet to apply for a $10,000 contribution, with standard documentation to support any claim.

Several motions throughout the meeting were adopted by roll-call vote; council will follow up on items requested for additional information (for example, total architectural spending-to-date and details on excluded tasks in the architect proposal).
