DC Prep board approves June minutes, moves into closed session

The DC Prep board voted to approve its June meeting minutes and later moved into a closed session during the Sept. 17 board meeting.

Chair Patrick asked for a motion to approve June’s minutes; a motion and second were recorded and the chair announced, "The motion carries. The minutes have been approved." The roll call recorded approvals from board members present.

Near the end of the public meeting, the chair requested a motion to move into closed session. A motion and second were made, a roll call was held and the chair again announced that "The motion is carried. We will now move into closed session." The board then adjourned the public portion and moved to a closed session as recorded in the meeting transcript.

No substantive votes on policies, contracts or budgets were recorded in the public portion aside from the minutes approval and the approved motion to enter closed session.
