Scott Koenig, senior project manager with TTI Technologies, updated the commission on the town’s 2021 road restoration program during the Aug. 10 meeting.
Koenig said work this season addressed five streets. On Louise Court crews completed milling and repaving following a water‑main replacement and striping of parking areas was expected late in the week or the following week. Concrete crews were completing Turtleback Court with anticipated finish by the end of next week, after which work will move to Mason Run Lane for curb, sidewalk and associated concrete repairs. Pearl Street work was scaled back pending a water‑main grant application; if the grant is awarded, water‑main design will proceed and paving may be deferred to next season. Koenig said the contract allows the town manager latitude to add or delete items and to rebalance paving to reach the expected contract value.
Koenig estimated the entire program would be complete by mid‑October and that cleanup would occur before colder weather. He said temporary pothole patching could be authorized by the town manager in grant‑affected areas to maintain safety and access while design decisions are pending.
Commissioners did not record further action; the presentation served as a progress report and timeline for residents and staff coordination.
