The Middletown Township Board of Supervisors approved routine business and recorded several unanimous votes at its meeting.
The board approved the consent agenda, which included authorization to pay bills dated Dec. 20, 2021 in the amount of $861,169.03 and payment certificate No. 9 for the Langhorne Gables drainage improvement project in the amount of $110,445.02. A motion to accept the consent items was made, seconded and approved 5-0.
On Ordinance No. 21-09 (age-qualified overlay), the board voted to continue consideration to the Jan. 18, 2022 meeting. Resident Lisa Reiser said posting at Double Woods and Ellis Road was too small to read; staff said it will post better notices on the township website and social media and has notified the Safe Stove Meadow Farms group.
The board also accepted the resignation of Christine Eller from the Financial Advisory Committee and thanked her for her service. The meeting concluded with holiday remarks from staff and board members and an adjournment.
