Clear Lake council approves $55,440 addition to senior center renovation contract

Council voted unanimously to approve an amended construction contract for the senior center renovation after staff reported a key equipment item (a walk‑in freezer and refrigerator) had been omitted from the original bid. City Manager Mr. Flora told the council funds are available to cover the additional $55,440, bringing the contract total to $649,320.

Councilmember Kramer asked whether the additional cost was funded; staff confirmed the funds are available. The motion to approve the amended contract was made by Council Member Kramer and seconded by Council Member Overton; a roll‑call vote was taken and the motion passed unanimously. There were no public comments on the funding amendment.
