Planning Commission appoints Lisa Wilson as chair, affirms Vice Chair Coker; new commissioner sworn in

The Planning Commission began its Nov. 9 meeting by swearing in a newly appointed planning commissioner and later voted to appoint Lisa Wilson as chair and affirmed Vice Chair Coker.

After the oath was administered to the newly appointed commissioner, commissioners discussed the need to replace Chair Fitz, who had resigned. A motion was made and seconded to nominate Lisa Wilson for chair; Wilson accepted the nomination. Commissioners also nominated and seconded Vice Chair Coker to continue as vice chair. During the roll call on the nominations commissioners voted in favor; recorded ayes included Commissioner McCarrick, Commissioner Williams, Commissioner Wilson, Commissioner Stewart and Vice Chair Coker.

The commission recorded the appointments on the minutes and moved on to the evening’s only listed agenda item: the Ogilin Hills Holdings project.
