Lock Haven council approves event and park requests, adopts several routine resolutions and an ordinance

At its meeting, the Lock Haven City Council approved a series of event and park use requests, adopted routine resolutions and completed a second reading of an ordinance transferring oversight of street excavations to the Department of Public Works.

Event and park approvals: Council approved a request from event organizers to use the airport for the 20th annual 'Wings Over Piper' (requested dates Aug 4–7, 2022) contingent on receiving a formal application and insurance. The Clinton County Special Olympics received approval to use Petty Park for softball practices with a practice schedule to avoid conflicts and a submitted insurance certificate.
