At its July 11 meeting, Lock Haven City Council approved several consent‑agenda items, including multiple park‑use requests and routine personnel actions.
The director of community life presented five park requests and asked that items 4b through 4f be considered together. Approved requests included: Clinton County United Way’s Triangle Park event on July 30 (11 a.m.–2 p.m.); a Roads to Peace event at Triamazoo Park on July 31 (8 a.m.–8 p.m.); a Hannah Park vow‑renewal for Wanda DeManno on Aug. 3; LH Jams’ request for electricity on Main Street for an August vendors event; and Ashley Simcox’s request for Zendesk Park on Sept. 17 for a small gathering. Staff said they will work with organizers to ensure park rules and regulations are followed.
Council also approved the minutes of the June 20 meeting and recorded a routine roll‑call vote. On personnel items, the council approved extending an offer for a probationary patrol position (candidate listed in the meeting as Hunter Roles) after the civil service commission certified an eligibility list.
