Finance meeting approves Class A liquor license for Pops Marketplace

The Muskego City finance meeting on Jan. 9 approved a Class A liquor license for Pops Marketplace LLC (doing business as Pops Pantry) for premises at South 75 West 17461 Janesville Road.

The chair (unnamed) introduced the recommendation and said the applicant is relocating from the former Bossy's location to a smaller production site. Unidentified Speaker 4 asked, “What is that a new location?” The chair (unnamed) replied that the owner’s production facility is moving “behind Walgreens by the auto parts place,” and that the lease at the previous location had expired.

Clerk (unnamed) moved the license approval and a second was recorded. The committee approved the license on a voice vote and the chair declared the motion passed unanimously.

The address for the licensed premises and the applicant’s trade name were stated on the record; no conditions or abstentions were recorded. The committee did not request additional materials or defer the decision.
