Natural Resources Committee agrees to 9:30 a.m. meeting time and discusses membership in Wisconsin Land + Water

The Natural Resources Committee reviewed calendar requirements (committees must meet 10 working days before the county board) and discussed member scheduling constraints. Adam, the area extension director, asked for morning meetings to accommodate regional responsibilities; members agreed that 9:30 a.m. on the first Monday of the month would work. Speaker 3 moved to set the meeting date/time; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.

Staff also told the committee it is a member of Wisconsin Land + Water and asked the committee to select a representative and alternate for the Southern Area group. Members asked for a link and background material; staff will include the organization link and make the representative selection an agenda item next month.

Committee chairs were reminded that agenda order follows newly adopted county board rules but that the chair may reorder items on specific meeting days.
