Votes at a glance: Lehi council approves consent agenda, temporary ice rink, concrete and recreation contracts

Lehi City Council recorded multiple formal approvals during its July 23 regular session.

Gardner Pointe Phase 5 (item 8): The council approved a plat amendment to relocate a public-utility easement (PUE) at approximately 1180 North 3960 West, following a staff explanation that the change avoids tearing out building footings.

Thanksgiving Point area-plan amendment (item 9): The council considered an ordinance to allow automotive repair as a use in the Thanksgiving Point commercial area. After clarifying whether the use would be permitted or conditional, staff confirmed the change would add automotive repair to the allowed table; council moved and seconded the ordinance and recorded affirmative votes.
