Votes at a glance: House passes multiple Senate bills including tax, manufacturing and data measures

During a floor session on March 2 the Utah House moved through a package of Senate bills and motions:

- Substitute Senate Bill 14: Uncircled for consideration and passed by the House; the clerk recorded 67 yes votes and 2 no votes.
- SB 39 (Rev & Tax): Addressed withholding for nonresidents and created an exemption for nonresidents working 20 or fewer days in a fiscal year; passed 73–0.
- SB 133 (Food Security Council/Utah State University): Established a food security council to address food-insecurity planning; passed 70–0.
- SB 212 (Manufacturing Modernization/Go Utah): Created assistance for Utah manufacturers to onshore and optimize supply chains; passed 69–0.
- Additional bills were placed on the concurrence calendar following communications from the Senate.
