Rules Committee recommends reappointment of Van Horn to Commission on Animal Control and Welfare

Supervisor Aaron Peskin, chair of the Rules Committee of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, moved on May 24, 2021, to send a committee report recommending the reappointment of Van Horn to Seat 7 on the Commission on Animal Control and Welfare for a term ending April 30, 2022.

Van Horn told the committee he has served as the Seat 7 veterinarian for the past couple of years and described his role as representing the veterinary profession broadly.
