Committee forwards several ABAG reappointments to the Board and adjourns

The Rules Committee took up items 5 through 8 together and voted to send four appointment or reappointment motions regarding the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) Executive Board to the full Board with a positive recommendation.

The clerk read the items: Item 5 would appoint Supervisor Myrna Melgar to the ABAG Executive Board Regional Planning Committee; Item 6 would reappoint Supervisor Gordon Mar to the ABAG Executive Board; Item 7 would reappoint Supervisor Hillary Ronan as an alternate to the ABAG Executive Board; Item 8 would reappoint Supervisor Rafael Mandelmann to the ABAG Executive Board. No public callers were in the queue. Chair Peskin asked for no objection; the roll call recorded Supervisor Stephanie, Supervisor Chan and Chair Peskin voting "aye," and the motions passed without objection. The committee then adjourned.

Next steps: items will be transmitted to the full Board for formal ratification.
