Item 3 amends the planning code to allow neighborhood‑serving social service and philanthropic facility uses in the Chinatown Mixed Use Special Use District with conditional use authorization, to clarify rules on reestablishing nonconforming uses and use‑size limits, and to exempt certain institutional community uses and legacy restaurants. Supervisor Paskin noted the item had been continued and amended previously and asked the committee to forward it again after public review.

There were no callers for this item. After a brief discussion, Supervisor Peskin moved to send the item to the full Board with a positive recommendation; the committee recorded three ayes and the motion passed.
