Jennifer Gee, senior property manager for the Port of San Francisco, presented a proposed nonexclusive license with GSW Arena LLC (Golden State Warriors) for the reservation and use of white/yellow curb spaces and 80 metered parking stalls on game and event days around the Chase Center. The initial term is 10 years with two 5‑year extension options; Port staff said fees use port commission parameters and include annual increases. The port anticipates approximately $1.5 million in revenue over the initial term and up to $3.5 million if extension options are exercised; each game/event would generate an estimated $1,008 for the 80 metered spaces.
A Golden State Warriors representative, Vanessa Gonzalez, called in to express support and noted coordination with SFMTA on an access plan. Supervisors asked whether the meter revenue was paid to the Port; Port staff confirmed the port receives meter revenues on port property. There were no opposing public comments. The committee voted 3–0 to forward the license with positive recommendation to the full Board.
Next steps: port license to be considered by the full Board; if approved the Port will administer and enforce the license terms on event days.
