Budget committee continues Port lease resolution for Seawall Lot 301 observation wheel

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors' Budget and Finance Committee on April 3 continued consideration of a Port resolution that would exempt a proposed lease of part of Seawall Lot 301 to Sky Star Wheel LLC from the city's competitive‑bidding policy and adopt environmental findings under the California Environmental Quality Act.

Clerk Brent Talipa read the resolution and described the Port's potential lease. Chair Supervisor Connie Chan said the Port requested a continuance to the call of the chair. With no members of the public signed up to speak, the committee voted to continue the item to the call of the chair. The roll call recorded three ayes and the motion passed.

Because the Port requested a continuance, the committee did not take further testimony or a final vote on the proposed lease; the item will return at the discretion of the chair.
