Committee files budget hearings, forwards fixed two-year budget resolution to full Board

Chair Matt Haney made a series of procedural motions during the meeting. The committee voted unanimously to forward Item 1 — a resolution proposing a fixed two-year budget cycle for the Airport, Port and Public Utilities Commission — to the full Board with a positive recommendation. The committee also voted to file the hearings for the five-year financial plan and the mayor's budget instructions, and to file the Controller's six-month budget status report. Finally, the committee continued Item 5 (economy update) to the call of the chair.

All recorded roll-call votes during the meeting recorded five ayes and no opposed votes. The motions and roll calls were recorded by the clerk and will appear on the Board of Supervisors agenda as noted by staff.
