The San Francisco Board of Education on May 14 reported out a series of stipulated expulsion agreements and authorized payment of stipulated amounts in several administrative- and court-level matters.
In public session the board announced it had approved stipulated expulsion agreements for multiple students, often with suspended expulsion status through dates in December 2024 or terms ranging to one calendar year following approval. The board also reported it had authorized the district to pay up to the stipulated amounts in OAH matters including "student MF v. SFUSD" (OAH case 20204-62956) and other listed OAH and Superior Court cases; the board recorded these votes as seven ayes on each matter.
Separately, the board considered personnel items. Under H3 the board approved employment agreements for district executive employees (placements and grade/step assignments were read into the record by counsel). Under H4 the board approved a one-year extension to the superintendent's employment agreement (to end 06/30/2026) as provided by the contract after a satisfactory rating for the 2022-23 school year.
General counsel read required public disclosures under California Government Code section 54953(c)(3) before the public discussion of executive contracts, and the board adopted the contracts and the superintendent contract amendment by roll-call votes.
