The San Francisco Department of Disability and Aging Services Commission recessed into a hybrid closed session Oct. 5 to conduct the executive director's FY 2022–23 performance evaluation. President Martha Knudson said the meeting required clearing rooms and stopping the live broadcast for the hybrid closed session.
When the commission reconvened in open session, Commissioner Wanda Jeong moved and another commissioner seconded a motion to not disclose the closed session discussions. The motion passed by unanimous roll call. The commission then announced it had voted to approve Executive Director Kelly Dearman's performance evaluation.
The commission did not disclose details of the evaluation or any deliberations, consistent with the motion not to disclose closed session discussions.
What's next: The commission announced the evaluation was approved and returned to open session business before adjourning; no additional public details were released at the meeting.
