OCII increases ALH Urban and Regional Economics contract by $75,000 for Candlestick/Hunters Point advisory

The Commission approved an amendment to OCII’s personal services contract with ALH Urban and Regional Economics on May 21, increasing the contract by $75,000 for a new total not to exceed $124,000. Staff said ALH — a woman‑owned sole proprietorship from the Controller’s prequalified pool — will review financial agreements, advise OCII on the developer’s updated proposal and analyze fiscal impacts for Candlestick Point and Hunters Point Shipyard Phase 2 DDA negotiations. Nikki Henry presented the scope and said ALH provided similar advisory services in 2016.

OCII staff noted community outreach is underway and listed upcoming public workshops (May 22 and June 1) and an anticipated commission workshop in the coming months. The motion to amend the contract passed by roll call (3 ayes, 2 absent).
