Votes: commission adopts AB361 teleconferencing findings; approves corrected April minutes

At the May 18 meeting the Building Inspection Commission adopted findings required under Assembly Bill 361 to continue meetings under modified Brown Act teleconferencing rules and approved the minutes of its April 20, 2022 regular meeting with a stated correction.

When staff read the AB361 findings, an unidentified commissioner moved to adopt and another seconded. The motion was approved by voice vote with commissioners answering in the affirmative.

Later the commission considered a correction to the April 20 minutes to add language recording a motion made on page 8. A motion to approve the minutes with that modification was made and seconded; the commissioners voted aye and the amended minutes were approved.

Adjournment was moved and seconded and carried; the meeting was adjourned at 11:04 a.m.
