Commission approves streamlined stipulation resolving Form 700 reporting issue for Gabriela Lopez

The Ethics Commission approved a proposed stipulation and order resolving a Form 700 reporting matter involving Gabriela Lopez under the Commission's streamlined administrative resolution process.

Pat Ford, director of enforcement, explained the streamlined process is used when a respondent cooperates and remedies a disclosure omission within 60 days and a fixed penalty calculation is applied. Ford said the respondent in this matter took remedial action and cooperated with the investigation. Commissioners had no substantive objections and voted to approve the minutes and the consent items together; the consent calendar motion to adopt items 3 and 4 was moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
