The San Francisco Entertainment Commission recorded several formal actions at its Feb. 21 meeting:
- Minutes: The commission approved minutes for its Feb. 7, 2023 meeting following public comment requesting revisions; roll-call recorded unanimous Aye votes.
- Consent agenda: Staff presented one limited live performance permit on consent; the commission approved the consent calendar unanimously.
- Corner Store Bites & Vibes (4516 Mission St.): The commission approved an LLP permit allowing indoor karaoke and DJs and limited outdoor amplified sound from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., subject to staff recommendations. Applicant Ina Lee described outreach and ties to the Excelsior/Mission commercial corridor.
- Finnegan’s Wake (937 Cole St.): The commission approved an amendment to formalize outdoor amplified sound for the rear patio between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. Staff noted outreach and mixed letters; owners pledged to limit amplified sound and monitor complaints.
- Adobe Books (EC1545): Rather than imposing immediate permit conditions, the commission continued a staff-initiated review of Adobe Books’ permit to March 21 so the co‑op can work with staff to finalize a security plan and, if appropriate, make it an enforceable permit condition.
Votes were recorded in the meeting transcript; staff will monitor approved permits for compliance with the Good Neighbor policy and respond to 311 complaints as necessary.
