HPC meeting roundup: minutes approved, continuances set, and next steps

At its Jan. 17 meeting the San Francisco Historic Preservation Commission approved several routine items: the minutes from Dec. 20, 2023 were adopted as corrected (vote 6–0), the continuance calendar (including election of officers and case 2019‑017325COA for 109 Liberty Street) was approved and continued to Feb. 7 (vote 6–0), and commissioners requested staff follow up on a Port presentation for the Embarcadero water resiliency project. Commissioners also received staff announcements about state law changes affecting permitting and program work for the year.

The chair noted Commissioner President Matsuda was absent; other commissioners were present. The meeting adjourned after the Mills Act discussion and votes.
