Fenton Board adopts several routine ordinances for parks, contracts and services

The Fenton Board of Aldermen approved a package of ordinances covering parks projects, vendor contracts and routine service agreements during the meeting.

Bill 24-107, authorizing an agreement with Saint Louis Scott Gallagher LLC for coaching and instruction for the 2025 City of Fenton youth soccer program, became Ordinance 4504 after the board sought and approved a waiver for second reading.

Bill 24-108, authorizing the mayor to execute a grant agreement with the Municipal Park Grant Commission to construct phase 1 of the Budweil Park annex, became Ordinance 4505 after the board approved a second reading and roll-call vote.

Bill 24-109, authorizing an agreement with Restroom Facilities LTD for the Fabick Nature Preserve restroom project, became Ordinance 4506 following a motion to waive second-reading rules and a roll-call vote.

Bill 24-110, a first amendment to the agreement with Shamrock Sewer and Drain LLC for on-call plumbing services for city-owned buildings, became Ordinance 4507 after waiver and second reading.

Bill 24-111, authorizing the mayor to execute an agreement with Topcare Lawn Services Incorporated for grass mowing services for certain properties for the 2025 growing season, became Ordinance 4508 after motion and roll-call votes.

All five measures were approved by the votes recorded at the meeting and were characterized by the board as routine renewals or grant-based contracting; the city attorney noted that because only five members were present, ordinances would require five affirmative votes to pass. The measures will proceed to implementation by the listed departments.
