Loan board OKs $50,000 CRF loan for Parks & Recreation training facility proposed by Jennifer Bennett

The City of Evansville Loan Administration Board approved a $50,000 CRF loan with a five-year term and 0% interest to support a training-only facility proposed by Jennifer Bennett. The project will convert the existing daycare, boarding and grooming business into an expanded facility in a designated redevelopment zone.

Jennifer Bennett told the board she is "looking to expand our current daycare, boarding, and grooming facility into a new building. It's in a redevelopment zone, and we'd like to open a training only facility." The board moved and seconded the CRF loan and approved it by voice vote.
