Commissioners approve polling locations and ballot orders for May primary

Jefferson County election staff asked the board to determine that the county’s current list of polling locations is suitable for the May primary and to authorize the number of ballots to order.

Rebecca (S12, elections staff) presented the list and said none of the polling locations had changed. Unidentified Speaker 2 moved to determine the current list of polling locations suitable for Jefferson County’s May 21, 2024 primary and to authorize purchasing the number of ballots shown; the motion was seconded and approved by roll call.

Board members signed the required documents and asked where signatures should appear; elections staff confirmed the paperwork was available for signatures at the meeting.

No substantive objections or changes to individual polling places were raised at the meeting.
