Commissioners honor long-serving staff and approve routine claims and consent items

The Yellowstone County Board of County Commissioners opened its March 26 meeting with recognitions for several county employees and partners, followed by routine business including approval of claims and the consent agenda.

Commissioners and department heads praised employees for long service. The meeting noted Sean French and others for years of service, cited Randy Pardis for 48 years of service, acknowledged Jeff Seward (25 years) and recognized Terry for two decades of work supporting board functions and staff training. Commissioners and staff offered thanks and arranged photos to mark the milestones.

Later in the agenda, a motion was made and seconded to approve county claims (claim numbers referenced during the meeting) and the consent agenda; both motions passed on voice votes. The meeting record shows no public controversy over the claims or consent items.

The chair offered final congratulations to recognized staff and adjourned the meeting.
