Jefferson County commissioners approved two administrative plats on the consent/land-use portion of the agenda.
Planning staff presented the Summerside administrative plat (SEG 1234+), which divides a larger parcel into two 5-acre lots off 4500 East; staff and commissioners confirmed irrigation and water rights and approved the plat by motion.
The board also reviewed the Centennial Ranch administrative plat (SEG 1324+), which creates three parcels (one 15-acre and two 5-acre parcels) off 4200 East. Commissioners identified an error in the irrigation language on the plat (the record as written said "3 inches per acre" but commissioners clarified that the canals' shares are "3 inches per share"). The board required the irrigation statement to be corrected and that the plat specify how many shares will be allocated to each lot. The motion to approve included those stipulations and passed on roll call.
Planning staff will return corrected documents and record the plat once the irrigation/share language is corrected to match canal/share rules.
