Commissioners refer three Metro Park West concession bids to staff for recommendation

The Yellowstone County Commission opened bids for Metro Park West concessions and unanimously referred them to staff for review and recommendation.

Staff read three bids. The bids as read in the meeting included a Party Construction base bid reported in the $206,000 range (with alternatives noted), a Wyman Construction base bid read as $296,009.57 with higher alternative figures, and a T.W. Ridley Construction bid listed at $219,000 with alternatives of $9,000 and $10,000. After reading the bid bonds and amounts into the record, Commissioner (speaker 3) moved to refer the bids to staff for evaluation and recommendation; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.

The board did not take an award decision at the meeting and instead directed staff to prepare a recommendation and return with findings to the commission.
