In a block of routine business, the Board of County Commissioners opened and acknowledged two proposals related to Metric Consulting Services, referred both proposals to staff for evaluation, and asked staff to return a recommendation on Feb. 7 with Kevin chairing the review team.
The board set a public hearing for the South 40 low-income rental housing project on Jan. 31, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. in the boardroom and scheduled a mid-year budget review hearing for Jan. 23 at 1:30 p.m. Commissioners also approved moving an ARPA-funded Metro infrastructure bid package (lower-lot to Expo ADA parking and access road, presented by WWC Engineering) forward for staff action.
In addition, the board read a resolution of intent (Resolution 23-02) to create a rural special improvement district, RSID 884M, and set a public hearing for February 14 for that item. Claims and the consent agenda were approved and filed as presented.
The board handled these items by motion and voice vote; the transcript records the motions, seconds and affirmative 'ayes' but does not provide a roll-call tally for each vote.
What happens next: Staff will evaluate the RFPs and return recommendations on Feb. 7; public hearings will proceed on the announced dates; staff will advance the ARPA bid package and return appropriate procurement recommendations.
