The Yellowstone County Board handled a series of routine items April 4, approving claims, setting public hearings and adopting a proclamation.
A motion carried to approve claims numbered 23‑141 through 23‑145. The board approved the consent agenda, amended to table the alcohol‑earmarked funds item as requested during public comment.
The board set a public hearing on Resolution 23‑24 (intent to create RSID 8‑90 and 8‑90M to pave and maintain a portion of 50 Fourth Street West) for May 16, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. in Room 3108. The board also set a public hearing for Resolution 23‑49, a board of viewers report regarding abandonment of a portion of 50 Sixth Street West, scheduled for April 18, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. in Room 3108.
Commissioner Morse read and moved to adopt Proclamation Resolution 23‑42, designating April 2023 as Child Abuse Prevention Month in Yellowstone County and recognizing Family Tree Nurturing Center’s leadership in local prevention efforts; the motion passed by voice vote.
