Clay County approves three resolutions to remove structures from National Bridge Inventory

The Clay County Commission unanimously approved three separate resolutions to remove structures from the National Bridge Inventory.

Chair introduced Resolution 2025‑33 to delete a structure from the National Bridge Inventory. Speaker 7 moved to approve the resolution, which was seconded and passed after a roll-call vote that recorded affirmative responses from Mokler, Kreilov, Brady, Teasley and Gilbertson.

A second resolution, 2025‑34, to remove another bridge was presented and similarly approved after roll call recorded affirmative votes from Wagner, Ray Loeb, Brady, Easley and Robertson.

A third resolution, 2025‑35, was discussed briefly; Speaker 7 noted they had not double‑checked every figure but expressed confidence in staff verification. The motion carried with recorded affirmative votes (Waffler, Kreilau, Brady, Teasey, Gilbertson).

Each motion was brought forward as separate agenda items and passed on the record. Commissioners did not expand debate beyond staff confirmations about the structures and verification of inventory numbers. The resolutions direct county staff to proceed with the administrative removal of the listed structures from the inventory.
