Board approves routine claims and consent agenda; public commenter invites commissioners to housing summit

During its April 11 session the Yellowstone County Board of County Commissioners approved routine claims and the consent agenda and heard a brief public comment announcing an upcoming housing summit.

Unidentified Speaker 4 moved to approve claims 23-146 through 23-150; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. The board then moved and approved the consent agenda and agreed to place listed file items to file.

At the end of the meeting a public commenter identified as Steve invited commissioners to attend “Housing Summit 3” on May 22 from 1–5 p.m., sponsored by the Billings Association of Realtors and to be held at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center; he said nearly 200 people attended a prior summit.

No substantive policy action resulted from the public comment during the April 11 meeting.
