Board approves final paving change order and appropriates funds to cover renewed waste contract

Separately, staff explained the Best Way waste management contract renewed recently and new rates were not reflected in the current 2025 budget, leaving November and December bills unpaid from 2025 appropriations. Staff said the renewed Best Way contract runs on a five‑year cycle and the 2026 budget will incorporate the new rates for future months.
