Cobb County lists seven respondents for Fire Station 20 design/build RFP

Cobb County Procurement Services on Nov. 20 read vendor responses to RFP solicitation 266,946 for design and building services for a new Fire Station 20. Cameron Evler, Senior Procurement Specialist, said the procurement uses multiple qualitative factors and therefore read vendor names only.

Evler listed Albion General Contractors Inc.; Benning Construction; Carol Daniel Construction; Envision Construction LLC; John W. Spratlin and Son LLC; Reeves Young LLC; and Swinerton Builders as respondents. Evler repeated that vendors were being announced but that qualitative evaluation would determine selection.

Readings at the opening did not include pricing or evaluation results. The county said preliminary bid results and approved awards would be posted on its OpenGov portal and procurement website once available.

The RFP is intended to secure design and construction services for a new Fire Station 20; the county did not provide an estimated contract value in the bid opening remarks.
