Norwalk ZBA elects Danielle as chairwoman, names Lee Levy secretary; minutes approved

The Voting Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Norwalk elected Danielle as chairwoman and Lee Levy as secretary during its Nov. 20 meeting and approved the prior meeting minutes.

During the opening of the meeting the chair opened nominations for both officer posts. Danielle was the lone nominee for chairman and was accepted without a contested vote; Lee Levy was nominated and confirmed as secretary. Members noted Levy’s prior experience leading the board.

Board members then moved to approve the draft minutes. A motion to accept the minutes was made, seconded and carried by voice vote.

The board confirmed a tentative next meeting date of Dec. 18 and discussed potential quorum issues during the holiday season. Members were asked to respond to a poll about availability. The meeting closed with a motion to adjourn and informal well-wishes among members.
