Facilities committee receives bond-project updates; Forest Hills stadium draws nine RFQ submittals

Miss Veil provided an update on bond-funded work in the district, reporting that ancillary and outdoor items for East Elementary and Forest Hills "have been installed and are in the final punch list of completion," and that supplemental furniture shipments have been received.

On the Forest Hills stadium project, Miss Veil said the district received nine RFQ submittals for design-build teams and staff have completed a preliminary review; interviews will be scheduled to identify a group to move forward with the project. She also said staff is coordinating with an architect on a barn and supplemental field needs tied to the stadium work.

No formal committee action was taken on the bond update; it was provided for information and staff will return with scheduling and selection materials as interviews are arranged.
