Sanitary engineer’s package: change orders for Hinkley and Santa Teresa projects and Champion Creek riverbank restoration authorized

Sanitary Engineer Jeremy Cinco presented three resolutions related to county sanitary infrastructure. The board approved: (1) Change Order No. 1 for the Hinkley wastewater treatment plant headworks improvement project; (2) Change Order No. 3 for the Medina County Santa Teresa rehabilitation project (2025); and (3) a declaration of necessity to restore Champion Creek riverbank and authorization for the sanitary engineer to commence advertising for construction bids.

An unidentified commissioner moved to approve the three sanitary resolutions; the motion was seconded and carried on a unanimous roll call (Commissioners Sweatick, Hambley and Harrison each voting "Yes"). Cinco framed the items as routine project adjustments and a necessary declaration to permit competitive procurement for the riverbank restoration.
