The Lolo Community Council voted on Nov. 11 to cancel its December meeting and set its next meeting for Jan. 13, 2026.
During new business the chair asked the council whether to cancel December’s meeting. A motion to skip the December meeting was moved and seconded; the chair called for the vote, recorded multiple 'Aye' responses and at least two 'Nay' votes, and then declared the motion passed. "All those in favor of skipping December, aye," the chair said, and later noted, "That puts us then, motion passed. Let's look at the calendar here. So next meeting would be January 13."
Why it matters: the cancellation concentrates routine council business into a January meeting and affects scheduling for submissions, public comment opportunities and agenda planning.
Procedural details: the minutes approval earlier in the meeting was moved and seconded and carried; the meeting adjourned by motion immediately before the council’s open house.
