The Todd County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday approved multiple warrant batches for October 2025, including auditor warrants of $10,546,006.24.
Denise, the county auditor, presented the auditor warrants and recommended the board approve ACH and manual payments totaling $10,546,006.24. After a motion and second, the board took a roll‑call vote; Commissioners Nasca, Denny, Newman and Byers voted yes and the warrants were approved.
The board also approved commissioner warrants of $53,915.71; health and human services warrants of $34,044; and health-and-human-services SSIS warrants of $42,536.41. Each batch was presented with background information, motions were made and seconded, and votes were recorded or taken by voice; each recommendation carried.
The auditor noted that the October settlement shows collection at approximately 89% of expected tax receipts for all taxing jurisdictions, totaling about $35.3 million of an expected $39.9 million to date.
No individual commissioner provided a recorded nay vote on the warrant items during the meeting, and each motion was carried as announced by the chair.
