The Kenosha County Joint Services Committee unanimously approved the minutes from its June 4 meeting and later voted to defer the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office operational update to the September meeting.
A motion to approve the minutes was moved and seconded; the chair called for a vote and members responded “Aye.” The chair announced the motion passed.
Committee members moved to defer the sheriff’s update after staff reported that sheriff’s office operational personnel and presenters were attending a DARE event that evening. A committee member made a motion to defer to September, a second was recorded and the committee voted unanimously to postpone the update. The chair said he would send an updated schedule of presenters to committee members.
