Beaver County controller reports steady tax collections, posts vendor list

Beaver County commissioners heard a quarterly financial update on Aug. 6, 2025, when the county controller said tax collections were about $51,000,000 and intergovernmental revenues were about $2,000,000 higher than the same period last year.

The county controller, presenting a quarterly report as of June 30, said expenditures for 2024 are in line with expectations and provided an annual vendor report listing vendors paid $250,000 or more and an individual-payments list for transactions of $10,000 or more. "I have 2 reports for you guys. The 1 is a quarterly report. I'm late on it, but I figured I'd give it to you. Nothing exciting. Everything works good for that," the controller said.

"You're about the same amount from last year, 51,000,000. We are up 2,000,000 this year from last year governmental intergovernmental revenues, so we're up a little bit. And expenses are right on point," the controller added. County staff said the vendor lists and the expenditure summary are available on the county website for public review.

No formal action was taken during the work session; the materials were distributed for commissioners' reference and follow-up as needed.
