Board approves Dec. 3 minutes; Heather Carmona re-elected chair; Pam Graham elected vice chair

The Birmingham Parks and Recreation Board took three formal organizational actions at its Jan. 14 meeting: it approved the Dec. 3 minutes, elected Heather Carmona as chair and selected Pam Graham as vice chair. All three votes were recorded by roll call and were unanimous.

An unnamed board member moved to approve the minutes "as presented in our packet," and Anne Licht seconded. Chair Heather Carmona called the roll: Heather Carmona, Pam Graham, Sarah Kupchak, Anne Licht, Jessica Einstein, Naralu Castellano and Joe Robel all voted yes.

During nominations for chair, Pam Graham nominated Heather Carmona to continue as committee chair; Carmona accepted. The board then voted by roll call with the same seven members recorded as voting yes.

For vice chair, Heather Carmona nominated Pam Graham; Graham accepted and the board again recorded a unanimous roll call of yes votes from the seven members.
