Board approves temporary waiver for Michael Bray, appoints Michelle Fortunato Keoughin to housing board

The Jefferson Union High School District Board of Trustees voted to approve a temporary variable-term credential waiver for Michael Bray and to appoint Michelle Fortunato Keoughin to the JUHSD Educational Housing Corporation board.

Director of Human Resources Dana Lujan presented the waiver application, saying Bray is enrolled in the career technical education credential program and is expected to complete the requirement by the end of the school year. "The application before you this evening is a request to waive the credential requirement for Michael Bray," Lujan said. A trustee moved approval and the motion was seconded; the board answered "Aye" and the motion carried.

Director Denise Shreve recommended Michelle Fortunato Keoughin as the employee representative member of the Educational Housing Corporation. Trustees moved and seconded the appointment; the board answered "Aye" and the motion carried.

The meeting record shows the motions were moved and seconded and that trustees voted in favor; the clerk recorded the votes verbally as "Aye" and no roll-call tally with individual names was announced on the transcript. The board did not discuss additional conditions or amendments on either item during the meeting.
