Board approves MOU defining Venetia Middle School advisory period

The Benicia Unified School District Board approved a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Venetia Teachers Association and the district regarding the advisory period at Venetia Middle School.

Dr. Jennings presented the MOU, which staff said clarifies expectations and responsibilities during the advisory period, a scheduled time intended to provide extra support for students and give counselors and other support staff time to work with them.
